An important event for our freshmen is the Kentucky Music Educators Association Junior High Chorus All-State Honor Choir. Freshmen students are selected by successful audition tape which consists of singing a scale, two musical patterns and a segments of a selected choral piece. Students get to experience a 100+ voice chorus and special guest conductors. Each year we have talented young singers chosen for this event. KJHC All-State Honor Choir is traditionally held during the KMEA conference in Louisville the first week of February.
