Each year, the PLD Choral program nominates 4-8 students for participation in the University of Lousiville Honor Choir. Our students are selected by Dr. Kent Hatteberg, Director of Choral Activities, to participate. Students receive high-quality instruction on outstanding literature. The choir usually consists of 150 singers from around the state and several neighboring states. Students are provided the opportunity to audition for acceptance and scholarship to the UofL School of Music. They are also treated to a concert by the internationally award-winning Cardinal Singers. Over the course of two days (Sunday and Monday in January) students prepare for a concert given on Monday night. Parents be sure to attend!
